The I-95 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina was shut down this morning after a semi truck hauling a load of ramen noodles overturned.

The driver, Larry Scholting, who works for Heartland Express, hit a support beam for an overpass on the southbound I-95 after dozing off.

Schotling told ABC11: “I thought I could make it down to the truck stops in Kenly, and I didn’t quite make it. I kind of drowsed off, and next thing I knew I had taken out the guard rail,”

No one was injured in the crash, but the highway was shut down for more than six hours. The highway was reopened at 3:30 pm.
