Several trucks were shot at by a pellet gun drive by shooter earlier this week on a Canadian Highway.
Pat Shrode describes the call he got from one of his drivers after his window was shattered early in the morning by the shooter: “Someone drove by and shot [my driver’s] windows out when he was driving down the highway,”
The driver who worked for him was driving a tanker truck on Highway 43 in Edmonton when the incident occurred.
“By the time he got to Valleyview, there was four or five other trucks in front of him with the same problem,” Shrode also told reporters.
According to police reports, there were seven trucks damaged by the shootings. Even worse, one driver required surgery after being shot in the head by a pellet.
After several vehicles were struck, the RCMP located the shooter and arrested 22-year-old Fadi Korkis for the crime. He now faces several charges, including assault with a deadly weapon.
