A truck driver had a not-so-great first day on the job when his trailer became wedged under an overpass in Gloucester County, New Jersey.
The incident happened on Wednesday evening, around 11:30 p.m., on Red Bank Avenue, near Evergreen Road.
According to local 6-ABC News, the driver attempted to travel under the 12’6″ Conrail bridge overpass when the trailer roof struck the bottom of the bridge and was partially ripped off. The truck was reportedly hauling auto parts.
After the accident, the driver told troopers that it was his first day on the job. Thankfully, the driver wasn’t injured in the incident.
The road was shut down for several hours, but has since reopened.
