A truck driver was in for a shock when he got back to his rig after leaving a local convenience store.

Norman Gringas, a company driver for Bar-Nunn Transportation, was parked at the Wawa convenience store in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania and noticed a white U-haul next to him. When he got back to his rig and started the engine, he heard an air leak coming from the rear.

The man in the U-haul saw the problem and offered to help, saying he had the required parts in his van to fix the issue.

After further examination, Gringas saw a puncture in the truck’s air hose that looked to be intentionally done.

He refused the offer from the man in the U-haul, and went inside the store to call the police. When they arrived, they determined that the driver was the target of a scam and the air hose was intentionally cut.

Police are now looking for the man in the U-haul. He’s describe as a white male, roughly 6 feet tall, 250 pounds, with salt and pepper hair, and is in his late 50s.
