A 46-year-old truck driver was shot by police officers after being involved in a hit and run in Norristown, Pennsylvania.

Norristown Police were notified of a semi truck which rammed into several parked cars. Once they arrived at the scene, the driver fled the scene, passing red lights and hitting a guard rail in the process.

Once officers caught up with him, he then attempted to ram their vehicles. That’s when one officer pulled out his gun and opened fire, shooting the windshield 3 times.

The driver was hit once, on the arm. He was arrested and brought to a nearby hospital.

His identity has not yet been released.
