A truck driver was robbed at knife point in an Ohio rest stop last week, and police believe it may be connected to a string of robberies which have taken place in the area since the summer.

On Thursday, truck driver David Warren was approached by a group of men at the rest area on I-71 in Delaware County, Ohio. He says the men demanded money, then shoved a knife in his face and took his wallet. They got away with approximately $1200 in cash.

As the men were fleeing the scene, Warren was struck by their getaway vehicle. Warren called police to report the robbery and was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Local police say the robbery is very similar to 10 other robberies that have occurred between Madison and Delaware Counties in the last 3 months.
