
A pickup truck veered into oncoming traffic, striking a semi truck head-on in Washington state on Monday afternoon.
The accident happened in Issaquah, Washington, around 4:38 p.m.
According to the Washington State Patrol, 30-year-old Patrick Saylor was driving east on SR 18 in his Dodge Ram pickup truck, when he veered across the center line and into the westbound lanes, striking the tractor trailer head-on.
Saylor was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck suffered injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

The truck driver’s name has not been released, however police did say he was a 41-year-old man from Greensburg, Indiana.
The roadway was closed for nearly 6 hours but has since reopened.
