
A truck pulling two flat bed trailers lost control on a California Highway and fell off an overpass on Wednesday afternoon.
It happened around 1:40 p.m. on the 14 Freeway, over the Ward road overpass, in Action, California.
California Highway Patrol said it’s not clear how the driver lost control. The driver, whose name has not been released, suffered a broken neck and was taken to a nearby hospital.
The flatbed trailers were empty at the time of the crash. No one else was injured.

CHP temporary closed Ward Road while crews worked to remove the dangling truck. It has since reopened.
An investigation remains underway to determine the cause of the crash.
