After eating at a Love’s truck stop in Dayton, Ohio, a truck driver was approached by a man that appeared homeless who asked him for money. When the driver refused, the man pulled out a handgun and held it to the driver’s head. The truck driver handed over all the cash that he had, $220, and the suspect fled the scene with another man, heading south.
The suspect is described as a white male, roughly six feet tall and roughly 200 pounds. He was wearing a black jack and blue jeans at the time of the robbery.
Before the robbery took place, the two men were seen asking asking other drivers for money.
The Dayton police are currently on the lookout for the perpetrator and have searched nearby abandoned houses and homeless camps, but their search has come up short. The truck stop is located on exit 51 of the I-75 in Dayton.
