COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho (May 9, 2014) — Demetrio Rayo, a truck driver in Idaho, followed the directions from his GPS to help him get to a golf course in Northern Idaho. He was delivering a load of sand for the course’s sand traps.
However, he was about to get into a trap of his own as his GPS lead him into a washed out, single-lane US Forest Service road. The road was too narrow to turn around, so he decided to keep going.
After several miles the terrain was unmanageable and the tractor-trailer overturned. The driver wasn’t injured, but the truck was totaled.
