
The Kansas Highway Patrol is searching for a driver involved in a fatal hit and run accident that took place in Neosho County, Kansas. The incident occurred on Thursday at around 12:30 p.m. on US-169 near the K-39 junction.
According to KMBC, a northbound semi truck crashed into a southbound semi truck, knocking the southbound truck off the highway. The impact caused southbound truck to overturn, killing its driver.
The driver of the northbound truck fled the scene of the accident.
Police are on the lookout for the driver responsible for the trucker’s death. KHP described the vehicle in question as a red Freightliner with severe damage to the driver’s side and trailer.
