According to police reports, a semi truck driver crashed on the I-20 in Alabama last weekend while trying to pull out one of his teeth.

The crashed occurred near mile marker 79. The driver told Alabama highway patrol that he lost control of his vehicle when he took his hands off the wheel to pull out a loose tooth.

After loosing control, his rig jackknifed and ended up in a ditch off the side of the interstate.

The 57-year-old driver was not injured during the crash. Officers that arrived on the scene said the driver had his tooth in his shirt pocket as proof.

A section of the highway was shut down for nearly 11 hours.
