A semi truck overturned when it struck a golf cart in the middle of the road. It happened early Wednesday morning on I-85 North in Dinwiddie County, Virginia.
According to ABC 8, a golf cart is believed to have fallen off a trailer several hours prior, and was left in the middle of the road.
A truck driver failed to notice the fallen golf cart, and crashed into it, causing his big rig to flip over.
The semi truck was on route to deliver food to a Super Value in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Officials attempted to salvage the remainder of the untainted food. Crews unloaded the food-filled truck before it was towed from the scene.
The truck driver was taken to a hospital for his injuries and is expected to recover.
