A Nebraska resident was charged for making threats to a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration inspector on March 11, 2015.
According to a report by the DOT’s Office of Inspector General, truck driver Ronald Mockelman allegedly made several threatening phone calls to the Nebraska offices of the FMCSA after receiving a fine for failing to abide to motor carrier safety regulations
The calls, which were made back in January, included threat of bodily injury. It is also reported that Mockelman called later called a second FMCSA office, but was not charged in connection with that phone call.
