
A truck driver was arrested on Friday, December 31st for allegedly driving into a group of protesters outside a delivery site.
According to WNYT, 46-year-old truck driver Igor Semenyaka had finished delivering a load at Momentive Performance Materials in Waterford, New York, when he approached a group of striking workers outside the facility.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office reported that Semenyaka then drove his tractor trailer towards the group of workers. No one was hit, however witnesses say there were several “close calls.”
Semenyaka was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment.
