A tractor trailer had its roof peeled off after attempting to drive under a low overpass in Binghamton, New York.
The incident occurred on Robinson Street, between Whitney Avenue and Alice Street on Friday morning. The truck crashed into a railroad overpass, despite its clear 11’7″ height clearance.
The overpass was nearly two feet shorter than the standard 13’6″ trailer.
The truck was hauling 20 tons of paper to be delivered in New Jersey. No one was injured in the incident.
The road was temporarily shut down, but has since reopened.
