
Police in Nevada County, the California have shut down a stretch of Interstate 80 eastbound due to a tractor trailer that rolled down an embankment.
The California Highway Patrol posted the following Facebook post on Saturday afternoon.
Traffic Alert:
I-80 eastbound, east of Donner Summit. Expect heavy traffic due to a collision involving a tractor trailer.
Currently we are holding traffic at the Donner Summit Rest Area for the recovery. Should have traffic rolling shortly.
According to a Caltrans tweet, the road is is expected to be reopened around 2:30 p.m.

The cause of the crash, or the condition of the driver, have not yet been released.
