A semi truck was hit by a train in Mishawaka, Indiana. It happened on Friday around 3:15 p.m. on Logan and Milburn.
WSBT reported that the semi got stuck on the tracks. The driver got out of the big rig and attempted to alert the train, but the train was unable to stop.
The result was a mangled mess of twisted metal.
The Mishawaka Police Department reported that there were no injuries.
According to officials, a diesel fuel leak resulted from the crash. Drivers were asked to avoid the area.
The train crossing is expected to be closed while cleanup and investigations are underway.
