
A tractor trailer hauling milk fell off an Interstate 10 bridge in Baldwin County, Alabama, injuring the driver on Saturday morning.
It happened shortly before 5 a.m., near Exit 33, on the eastbound Bayway bridge. According to Trooper Kevin Cook, the truck “collided with two utility trucks” before plunging off the bridge into Mobile bay below.
The driver was airlifted to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. He reportedly suffered burns to his face and body and a broken arm, but is expected to recover.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Police will release their report within the next two weeks.
