A tow truck driver was stabbed during a robbery on the I-70 in Columbia, Missouri when he stopped to help a car on the side of the highway.
As he parked his truck on the side of the road, two men in the stranded vehicle got out and assaulted the tow truck driver.
The driver was robbed and left unconscious on the side of the road. When he woke up he got into his truck and called police. He is expected to make a full recovery, as his injuries were non-life threatening, but he did spend the night in the hospital.
