Three people are behind bars after shooting and leaving a convenience store employee for dead during a string of truck stop robberies in Arkansas.

Police say 19-year-old Monica Bell, 20-year-old Tyrell Caldwell and 19-year-old Desmond Dorsey committed at least seven armed robberies in Crittenden and Cross County in Arkansas over the last four months.

Back on October 26th, the three entered the Wynne Truck Plaza on Highway 64 in Wynne, Arkansas, and demanded cash from an employee. According to News Channel 3, when the cashier fought back, they shot him several times and left him for dead.

“They shot this man multiple times. Multiple times and left him for dead,” said Wynne Police Detective Bill Colvin. The cashier is permanently paralyzed as a result of the attack.

Local police had been searching for the three for months, but finally caught a break on Wednesday January 4th, after a failed truck stop robbery in Marion.

All three suspects were arrested and face a slew of charges.

The Wynne Police Department published these photos of the suspects.
