Dozens of opportunistic men swarmed an overturned tanker truck in Egypt, in order to steal leaking fuel by the bucket-load. Their risky score took a turn for the worse, however, when the tanker exploded — engulfing the men in flames.
The video, which can be seen above, was posted by YouTuber Mamdouh Saad and shows the moment things went from bad to worse.
This still image, taken by a witness, shows the men crowding the tanker, trying to take as much fuel as possible.
Moments later — the truck explodes, engulfing the thieves in flames.
According to The Daily Mail, the incident took place near Alexandria, Egypt. The clip was uploaded on Sunday evening.
The amount of victims and the extent of their injuries are not known.
