It’s that time of the year again, the annual 72 hour Roadcheck is approaching.

The 72 hour inspection spree, a joint effort by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, and other commercial vehicle authorities, is set to kick off on Tuesday, June 2nd 2015 and last through Thursday, June 4th.

10,000 inspectors will be stationed in 1,500 different locations throughout North America. They’re expected to perform close to 70,000 inspections during that time frame.

In last year’s annual Roadcheck, nearly 1 out 5 commercial vehicles, out of roughly 72,000 inspected, were placed out of service as a result.

As usual, full level 1 inspections will be performed during this year’s roadcheck, but there will be an extra emphasis on cargo securement.

The CVSA has released the following cheat sheet on what they’ll be looking for when examining drivers.
