Texas born comedian, Ron White, once said, “it’s not that the wind is blowin’, it’s what the wind is blowin’. That couldn’t be more true than in this scene of a viscous tornado that touched down a few years back.
Texas is known for some harsh weather, and a tornado that blew through the Dallas/Fort Worth area was strong enough to hoist 53′ semi trailers around like they were Tonka toys.
Anyone who lives in an area that is prone to tornadoes understands how frightening the sky can look and how loud the winds can sound during a tornado.
Winds in excess of 60 miles per hour ripped through the Dallas metro area, uprooting and hurling trees and other debris into the skies above the city.
Mother Nature’s wrath can never be underestimated, especially if a majority of your days are spent out on the road.
