
Two teenagers were arrested in connection with the semi truck shooting spree which took place on Highway 75 in Oklahoma over the last three days.
Since Sunday, nearly a dozen vehicles, mostly semi trucks, were struck by gunfire near a Walmart distribution center in Ochelata.
On Tuesday, officers ramped up their investigation efforts and went door-to-door asking locals if they witnessed anything.
One of the residents told officers that his son and his son’s friend were out hunting on Monday night. After further questioning, the two 14-year-old’s confessed to the shootings.
They told officers they were doing “target practice” and didn’t intend on causing any harm.
According to NewsOn6.com, the two teens were arrested on eight counts of assault with a deadly weapon and eight counts of reckless handling of firearms.
In total, 8 Walmart semi trucks, a Swift Transportation semi truck, and two passenger vehicles were hit.
There were no reported injuries.
