
A truck driver had a disastrous sip of soda, when he choked on his Dr. Pepper, lost control of his vehicle, and ended up smashing into a new car dealership.
The incident occurred in Hermitage, Pennsylvania, on Sunday morning. According to WKBN-27, the driver, 58-year-old Thomas Young, jumped a curb and slid down an embankment before plowing through the lot of the Montrose Buick-GMC Cadillac dealership on N. Hermitage Rd.
The truck ended up hitting 23 new cars, and even pushed a car onto the showroom floor.
Young, who drives for Niemeyer Milk Transfer of out Indiana, was hauling a tanker full of milk and was not injured in the crash, but was cited for careless driving.
The dealership was closed at the time of the crash.
