Two truck drivers passed away on Thursday after getting into a deadly collision while traveling on eastbound Interstate 20 in Carroll County, Georgia.
A Cadillac Escalade struck the tractor trailer causing the truck to jackknife and crash into a bridge pillar, setting it ablaze. Both the driver and passenger of the semi truck died in the crash. Two people that were in the SUV were taken to a hospital and suffered minor injuries.
Studies have concluded that a majority of car-truck crashes are caused by the drivers of cars, and such was the case with this tragic incident. Unfortunately it’s a story that probably won’t be mentioned on most mainstream news networks.
