A truck driver was shot at while traveling on Interstate 70 in Indiana on Tuesday morning.

According to reports, an “older model tan Olsmobile Aurora” pulled up to the semi truck’s driver side and fired several shots towards the rig. At least one bullet struck the truck, shattering the driver’s side window. The incident happened around exit 85B in Indianapolis around 11 a.m.

The truck driver said the perpetrator then exited the highway and fled the scene. The driver of the semi truck was not injured.

Police did not provide a description of the shooter, but did indicate that the suspect’s Oldsmobile had a temporary license plate on its rear window.
