Truck driver Ryan Page was trapped in his truck after the Buffalo snowstorm struck.
He was previously informed that the New York area would only receive about 2 feet of snow. He went to bed that night early in order to wake up for an early morning appointment. When he awoke, he was surprised to see the amount of snow on his hood alone.
He was sent home, back in Price County, Wisconsin, where he was able to relax, spend time with his family, and even go hunting. Unfortunately for Page, there was nothing out there but doe.
“It’s nice to come home, look around, you see the snow, go out and sit in the woods, listen to the birds sing and you’re not looking at ten feet of snow.”
After recuperating, Page traveled back to NY to return to his truck. No one gets left behind, but Page believes his truck’s going to have to be towed in its current condition. The life of a trucker is never an easy one, you just gotta keep driving.
