If you live in the Fife, Washington area and your dog was going nuts around 11:45 at night on the 26th, it may have something to do with the thousands of pounds of dog food lying on the ground near I-5.

The driver of the rig was making a delivery when he admittedly fell asleep at the wheel. The rig ended up in a ditch with kibble spilled all over.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Guy Gill said the man was lucky he didn’t get crushed by all of those 50-pound dog food bags. He was even lucky enough to come out unharmed, less say a few bruises.

Gill has also stated that the man will be charged with negligent driving. The lanes were closed off until the early morning, when the kibble was all cleaned up.
