Officers in LaPorte County, Indiana, have arrested four teenagers who allegedly threw rocks and other debris off an Interstate 94 overpass, causing 17 crashes in just two days.
According to WNDU.com, police received 24 complaints from drivers who were struck by rocks and other objects on while traveling on I-94. The objects were thrown off the overpass at County Road 900 North.
Out of the 24 reported incidents, 17 resulted in crashes.
On Wednesday, officers acted on an anonymous tip and discovered four bikes near the entrance of the overpass. After searching the area, police arrested four juveniles whom they believed to be responsible.
All four suspects were taken to a juvenile detention center in LaPorte County. Charges are currently pending.
