On Tuesday, a three-vehicle crash in Orange County, Florida, sent several people to the hospital. The accident occurred when a Mears bus and another vehicle collided with a semi truck.
The bus drove straight through a trailer.
It happened while a westbound semi was about to turn north on S. John Young Parkway, and a northbound bus was traveling on S. John Young Parkway. It is unclear where the other vehicle was headed during the crash.
Rescue crews rushed to the scene.
Six people were hospitalized with injuries. According to WFTV, the bus driver is in critical condition, but no passengers were on the bus at the time of the crash. The truck driver was not reported to be injured.
The accident shut down the northbound lanes of S. John Young Parkway at Central Florida Parkway.
Officials are investigating the incident to determine its cause.
