A semi truck’s windshield was shattered in Connecticut after it was struck by flying ice from the top of another vehicle on Friday.

The incident happened three days after a large snowstorm that blanketed the northeast in snow. According to a local ABC news affiliate, “Ice came flying off a car traveling westbound on Route 6 in Andover and smashed through the windshield of the tractor trailer driving east.”

The CSP posted the following on Facebook:

“It’s been 3 days since the snow storm, yet it’s still happening……flying ice from a vehicle traveling WESTBOUND on Route 6 in Andover smashed the windshield of a Tractor Trailer traveling EASTBOUND on Route 6. Clear vehicles of all ice and snow!”

Thankfully, there were no reports of the driver being injured in the incident.
