A truck driver in Illinois swerved off road on Thursday and ended up nearly camouflaged in a swamp off Interstate 55. The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
The accident occurred Thursday evening, around 8 pm, but when the clean up crew arrived to the scene they were unable to remove the truck and had to return on Friday.
It may have been a wild ride for the driver of the truck, as it didn’t just slip off the road, but did a complete 180 and was found facing the opposite direction of traffic. No word on the condition of the driver yet. We’ll keep you posted as information is released.
