At 8:30 this morning, in Bellmawr, New Jersey, a tractor trailer caught fire along a highway construction zone.

The incident occurred on the ramp from I-295 north and Route 42 north to I-295.

Just hours ago, huge flames were blazing, and the cab was enveloped in the fire.

Thick, black smoke blanketed the surrounding air.

Authorities sprayed foam to extinguish the inferno.

New Jersey State Police stated that no injuries were reported, and it appears no other vehicles were involved. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

In addition, the truck spilled diesel fuel across the road. Cleanup will be underway and damaged will be assessed once the truck can be moved.

According to Fox 29, all lanes of 42 to get to I-295 north are blocked.

Officials suggested that drivers  take the New Jersey Turnpike as a detour.
