A CSX train collided with a natural gas powered semi truck in Buffalo, NY, on Tuesday morning, leading to injuries to both the truck driver and the train conductor.
According to WIVB4, the train was backing up when it struck the semi truck that was on the Ganson Street tracks. Upon impact, the semi truck’s natural gas engine ruptured and exploded, causing both the train and the truck to catch fire.

The train conductor suffered burns on 18% of his body, while the truck driver suffered minor burns. They were both taken to the local hospital.
The section of the train that collided with the truck was empty, the truck was hauling a load of flour. A full investigation is currently underway.
