
Two trucks collided and an SUV collided in Stratford, Texas, on Saturday afternoon one of the vehicles cross into oncoming traffic and overturned.
According to NewChannel10, the driver of the semi truck that was headed south on US-287 fell asleep behind the wheel and hit a guardrail, then over-corrected and crossed into the northbound lanes. The truck then collided with another semi that was traveling north.
The southbound truck overturned and blocked the highway after the collision. An SUV carrying 5 children was unable to stop in time and crashed into the overturned truck.
2 adults and 4 children were injured and airlifted to nearby hospital. Two of the six injured are said to be in critical condition.
An investigation is underway.
