A truck driver working for C.R. England hit an overpass support column on the E-470 in Colorado and got into quite a mess earlier this week.
The trailer, which was loaded with 40,000 pounds of cheese, partially snapped in half due to the impact and added hours to the recovery process.
The load of cheese had to be carefully removed from the trailer, as the cleanup crew feared the trailer would completely snap due to the weight of the load and spill the cheese on the expressway.
It took roughly six hours for the cheese to be removed and the road to be cleared.
The driver was not was not injured, but is expected to receive a citation for careless driving.
