
Interstate 40 in Oklahoma was partially closed after a semi truck crashed into an overpass on Saturday afternoon.
Acording to KOKO.com, the truck was traveling on westbound Interstate 40, when it struck the Interstate 44 overpass around 12:05 p.m.
OKC – Lanes of westbound I-40 are currently closed at I-44. Traffic is being rerouted onto I-44. Drivers must locate alternate route.

The Oklahoma Fire Department said approximately 100 gallons of diesel fuel leaked onto the highway from the disabled semi.
OkDOT warns drivers to find alternate routes, as the westbound lanes of Interstate 40 are expected to be closed for several hours.
Update (6:30 p.m.):
The westbound lanes were reopened as of 5:06 p.m. CST, but the shoulder remains closed. Oklahoma DOT warns of delays as cleanup crews are still at the site.
