Police are on the lookout for a man who attacked a female trucker on Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred around 6:30 pm in the parking lot of the Pilot Travel Center on New Castle Rd. in Portersville, Pennsylvania.
According to a InsideButlerCounty.com the man approached the 40-year-old driver, choked her with a chord, and held a knife to her throat while demanding money. He then threw her to the ground and punched her several times before fleeing the scene.
The driver’s name was not revealed, but police say she lives in Alabama and was hauling a fully loaded trailer.
