A car and a semi truck were involved in a serious accident in Tolleson, Arizona, on Wednesday, which led to the closure of a highway exit ramp.
Police say the driver of the car may have ran a red light before crashing into the semi truck and getting wedged under its trailer. The Interstate 10 eastbound exit ramp at 99th avenue was closed as a result of the crash.
According to ABC-15, the driver of the car was taken to a local hospital, the severity of her injuries are unknown.
The driver of the semi truck was not injured.
Update: The I-10 exit ramp at 99th avenue has reopened.
