A truck driver was taken to a local hospital after crashing into a house in Wayne County, Indiana, on Thursday morning.
According to the Indiana State Police, the driver of the truck, 27-year-old Makhmud Amanov, passed two cars in a no passing zone on US 35, then took a curb too fast, causing him to lose control and smash into the house.
He was hauling rolls of paper, which spilled onto the road as the truck overturned.
A mother and her 10-year-old child were asleep in the house at the time of impact, but were not hurt.
Amanov was charged with driving too fast to avoid a collision and passing in violation of signs and markings. He was also charged with four federal DOT violations including exceeding federally mandated hours-of-service driving limits, and other log book violations.
