A car and a semi truck were involved in an accident late Monday evening on Interstate 80 in Utah.
It happened in Tooele County, around 55 miles from the western Utah border, around 11 p.m.
According to KUTV, the car was traveling east, behind the tractor trailer, and was not able to react in time for slowing traffic. In order to avoid rear-ending the truck, the car swerved left, then over-corrected to the right and drove under the trailer.
The car was wedged there and dragged by the truck for 300 yards before the truck driver noticed.
Police say the car driver’s fatigue was likely a factor in the crash.
