A car had its roof ripped off after crashing into a semi truck on US Highway 53 on Tuesday morning.

The incident happened around 8:45 a.m., near Belknap street, in Superior, Wisconsin.

According to ABC News, the semi truck was making a left turn at an intersection, when the car, which was traveling straight, drove underneath the trailer.

Police said the car driver’s speeding and impatience was a factor in the crash.

The driver of the car was knocked unconscious in the crash and taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The truck driver was not injured.
