Police are seeking information regarding the homicide of an Oregon trucker.
Police discovered the victim’s body around 1 p.m. on August 12 at the TA truck stop located on Interstate 5 (Exit 673) in Redding, California.
He has been identified as 64-year-old Rick Michael Forbes of Grants Pass, Oregon
Forbes was discovered inside the cab of his truck by investigators. Police have not yet revealed how he died, but have classified the death as a homicide.
The discovery came after his family and company reported him missing. Detectives stated that Forbes arrived at the truck stop on Thursday after 11 p.m.
The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office has offered a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of person(s) responsible for the trucker’s death.
Details surrounding his death will be released after the investigation is complete.
