
Police in Rochester, Minnesota, are searching for the driver and passenger of a white car that crashed into a tractor trailer, causing it to overturn, and fled the scene on foot.
The incident happened on Saturday afternoon, on the northbound lanes of Highway 52, near the Apache Mall.
According to ABC 6 News, witnesses say a black male and black female passenger were arguing in a white car before swerving into a tractor trailer. The impact of the crash caused the truck to lose control and overturn on the highway.
After the crash, the man and woman left the white car at the scene and fled on foot towards the Apache Mall.
The driver of the truck was identified as 27-year-old Jonathan Emanuel Bell from Lusby, Maryland. He was taken to St. Mary’s hospital for his injuries, which were listed as “non-life threatening.”
Minnesota State Patrol is asking for help to identify the two that fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to call MSP at (507) 923-2040.
