Police say a truck driver took off after hitting a 30-foot tree and dragging it for over two miles in West Windsor, New Jersey, last week.

According to the West Windsor Police, a semi truck that was leaving the Church of St. David the King on New Village Road struck the 30 foot tree as it was backing out the parking lot on November 2nd.

They believe the tree was lodged under the truck’s trailer and dragged for 2.3 miles.

During its trek of chaos, the tree destroyed 19 mailboxes, hit four utility poles, and even took down a stop sign in the church parking lot, before finally becoming dislodged near the Cranbury Golf Course.

Police are currently searching for the driver of the semi truck, who left the area after the incident.
