A truck driver was arrested after police discovered more that 132 pounds of cocaine in his rig during a traffic stop in south east Texas.
Police stopped the Volvo tractor trailer on eastbound Interstate 10, near mile marker 861, for failing to maintain its lane.
According to KFDM.com, the driver, 30-year-old Mauro Cano Moreno, gave police consent to search his vehicle. During the search, officers discovered 60 bundles of white powder, which later tested positive for cocaine, inside the semi trailer.
A police statement indicated that the 132 pound load has an estimated street value of $4.8 million dollars.
The Alamo, Texas resident was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Felony 1st Degree.)
He is being held on $200,000 bond at the Orange County Correctional Facility.
