Four people were able to walk away from a serious crash involving a semi truck and a pickup on Interstate 495 in Maryland on Saturday morning.

According to WTOP.com, the tractor trailer struck a support beam at the Riggs Road overpass on the Capital Beltway Outer Loop (I-495) and rolled on top of the pickup.

The occupants of the semi truck and pickup were able to exit the vehicles on their own and suffered only minor injuries. They were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police Chief Spokesperson Mark Brady said that it was “Unbelievable that occupants all self-extricated with minor injuries,” after seeing the scene.

“#NoKidding,” he added on Twitter.

A portion of the highway was closed after the crash, but has since reopened.

An investigation is underway to determine what caused semi to veer into the bridge pillar.
