A truck driver parked his semi truck on a local road near the Navy Depot Supply Center in Northeast Philly this Thursday, only to find a bomb squad and fire crew looking through his rig when he returned.
Authorities said the truck, which was parked on the shoulder of Tabor Avenue and Robbins Street, raised a flag of suspicion because it was left unattended.
According to NBC-10, officers searched the truck and the contents of the trailer, but found no indication of foul play.
The driver returned to his rig a short while later. Police say that big rigs are not allowed to park there and plan to issue a citation to the driver.
